On 11 October 2025, our Abuja team visited the Kachingoro IDP camp in the FCT as part of the Teenage Well Project. The goal was simple but important: meet a real need, spend time with the girls, and create a safe space for learning and conversation.
We distributed 300 packs of sanitary pads to help close the gap many of the girls face every month. But the day was about much more than supplies. We held a personal hygiene awareness session, talked through everyday challenges the girls experience, and created an open forum where they could ask questions without fear or embarrassment. Their honesty made it clear how much access, guidance, and support matter.
