Introducing Ms. Flow—Because Every Girl Deserves the Right to Understand Her Body
This year, as the world celebrates the International Day of the Girl Child, we’re proud to introduce Ms. Flow—an AI-powered WhatsApp bot designed to bridge the menstrual knowledge gap for teenage girls in Nigeria.
During our Teenage Well Project outreaches, which started three years ago, we discovered a common story among the girls we meet:
their first lesson about menstruation often comes from fear, silence, or myths — not facts. Many have endless questions but limited access to answers once we leave their schools or communities.
Ms. Flow is here to change that.
She provides accurate, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive information about menstruation—right on WhatsApp, accessible even through a parent’s phone.
Our goal is simple:
Make menstrual education private, inclusive, and easy to access.
Empower girls with knowledge and confidence.
Reach even the most remote communities through local ambassadors.
