According to the Nigeria Demographic Health Survey (NDHS, 2018), the under-five mortality rate in Nigeria is 132 per 1,000 live births meaning that 1 in 8 Nigerian children never reach the age 5!..Many of these children under five years age dies as a result of preventable causes…Motherhood NG Initiative introduces #project1st5years ..

The causes of this high child mortality are preventable and treatable like Malaria, Malnutrition, sepsis, diarrhoea, Pneumonia.

Motherhood NG Initiative introduce #project1st5years to tackle child mortality of under five years old..We are set to provide health education to new mothers and mothers with children within five years..We will use our established Data from #projectsafebirthng to send reminder create awareness to new mothers..We believe that every child deserves to live and live healthy no matter their location or their parents financial status.
